Add DocuID to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from the Office add-in store.
One listing covers Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, on desktop and in Office on the web. The add-in sits beside the file you already have open.
When you use it
You want to open, save, or share DocuID files without leaving Microsoft Office.

Your IT admin may have already deployed it. Check My Add-ins before installing from the Store.
Open Get Add-ins
Primary listing: iVALT DocuID in the Office add-in store.
In Word, Excel, or PowerPoint: Insert → Get Add-ins (or Home → add-ins, depending on your Office version). Product page: addin.docuid.net.
Search and add
Open the Store tab, search DocuID, choose the iVALT listing, click Add, and accept permissions.
Verify the ribbon
The DocuID control appears on the Home ribbon. Click it to open the task pane.
If something goes wrong

| Not on the ribbon | Check My Add-ins, or ask IT if the organization blocks the Store. |
| Store blocked | Ask an admin to deploy the Office add-in for the tenant. |
| Works in desktop but not web (or the reverse) | Sign in again in that host; cookies are per environment. |
