Upload

Lock files on your device before they are sent to your workspace.

Upload sends only an unreadable copy. The readable file never leaves this browser. Files land in the active workspace (your Personal workspace if you have not switched).

When you use it

You have a local PDF, Office file, image, or other supported file to store in DocuID.

Open Upload

In the workspace sidebar choose Upload, or use Upload files on the dashboard. Direct link: app.docuid.net/upload.

Choose files

Click Browse local files or drag files (and folders) onto the drop zone. Each file is queued and locked in the browser before it is sent.

Optional destination folder

Use the folder picker to place the upload inside a folder in the active workspace. Nothing from this upload is visible in a different workspace.

Confirm completion

Watch per-file progress until each item completes. Failures show a reason and can be retried without picking the files again.

The upload queue with per-file progress.

Vault locked? Approve the iVALT prompt to unlock your vault, then retry. Uploads cannot start while the vault is locked.

Options and limits

Supported kinds include documents (PDF, Word, RTF, OpenDocument), spreadsheets (Excel), presentations (PowerPoint), images, plus media and zip archives. Each kind has its own size cap. Typical caps: PDF and PowerPoint 200 MB, Word and Excel 100 MB, images 25–100 MB depending on type.

If a file is too large, the queue shows File exceeds maximum size of N MB. If the type is not allowed, it shows Unsupported file type.

If something goes wrong
